Insecticidal effect of polysaccharides extracted from Prunus amygdalus amara’ seeds

Résumé

La recherche de molécules naturelles à effets insecticides et peu néfastes à l’environnement fait l’une des préoccupations scientifiques dans le domaine agricole. Dans ce travail, la fraction des polysaccharidiques des graines de Prunus amygdalus amara est testée pour son potentiel insecticide contre Tribolium confusum. Les polysaccharides solubles dans l’eau de P. amygdalus ont été extraits à 80°C puis filtrés dans un milieu sevag. Leur composition chimique a été estimée par la technique FTIR. Les essais de toxicité par contact et l’effet répulsif ont été effectués en exposant T. confusum à différentes concentrations des extraits, dans des boites de pétri. Le taux de malondialdehyde est mesuré chez les individus survivant après 7 jours d’exposition à 4 mg/ml de PAP. Les résultats ont montré la richesse des PAP en plusieurs composés chimiques de nature aromatique et sulfurée qui sont probablement complexées à des protéines. La mortalité des insectes due à e test de toxicité par contact a prouvé un effet insecticide dose et temps -dépendant. Par exemple, appliqué à 8 mg/ml les PAPs induisent la mortalité d’environ 80 % des adultes dans 15 jours. L’effet répulsif a été très marqué avec un pourcentage variant de 66 % à 100%, pour les doses étudiées., après 6 heures d’exposition. L’analyse du malondialdéhyde prouve que l’exposition au PAPs induit un stress oxydatif au niveau organismique expliquant en partie son effet toxique sur T. confusum. En conclusion, les polysaccharides extraits de P. amygdalus amara exercent un effet insecticide contre les coléoptères et peuvent être conçu pour le développement de nouveaux insecticides amis à « l’environnement ».
